My KC Doula is a concierge doula service, striving to provide individualized support to your family through pregnancy, birth and beyond. We pride ourselves on being the best doulas in Kansas City. As you make your way through early parenthood, we are here to bring you unbiased and non-judgemental support, every step of the way. We believe in building bridges with care providers to offer our clients professional support in whatever choices they make. Each family's story is different. Lydia Judin, Birth and Postpartum Doula

Lydia, originally from Dallas, TX has made her home in the Northland of Kansas City, MO for 11 years where she has been a devoted wife for 23 years and a nurturing mom to four young adult children. Lydia’s hearts desire is to assist and serve families with an attentive, calm and gentle spirit.
Lydia studied Elementary Education at Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. She has also completed birth and postpartum doula training through DONA International and has completed training through Prevention and Treatment of Traumatic Childbirth(PAATCh).
Lydia enjoy taking long walks, family time, gardening, swimming and pursuing her own health and wholeness by reading self-care books.

Samantha started her education in caring for families by receiving a dual bachelors degree in early childhood education/early childhood special education. She has taught preschool, toddler classes and first grade.
Samantha opened My KC Doula in the winter of 2017 after two years of doula work under her belt. She knew she wanted to make a difference in Kansas City with the professionalism and overarching care that puts My KC Doula at the forefront of this industry. Samantha loves working with new families and helping birthing and postpartum mothers feel more supported!
Samantha currently resides in Kansas City, MO with her husband and five children.

Samantha Stancliffe is excited to be part of the doula community and honored to be able to offer doula services to expectant mothers. Samantha grew up as one of the oldest of 8 children and has always had a tremendous respect for the power of the mother in bringing new life into the world. She has always loved working with families and especially babies.
Sam grew up in the various areas of the country and settled in the Northland of Kansas City almost seven years ago. Sam loves spending time with family and enjoying all things that Kansas City has to offer. Sam loves being part of a support system that ensures that every woman will find the love and encouragement she needs during her unique journey through pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

Goldie's Birth

One of my dreams has always been to have a peaceful, beautiful home birth where I can give birth in the water and immediately snuggle up with baby in my bed! That was the plan for three years as we tried and tried to get pregnant with Goldie. Finally in January of 2021 we found out that we were pregnant again and I immediately texted my midwife with the news. The 10 months of pregnancy flew by and soon it was my due date, september 25th! We had everything set up and I was getting so excited as I would be the first of my sisters to give birth to one of the fab four. Nothing happened for five full days after my due date. Finally on the morning of the 29th I started contracting at 7:30 AM. I was so excited because with Fred, I started contractions at 7 and had a baby by 2:30!
