Mary was born and raised in Ontario Canada, she was exposed to a variety of ethnic cultures and diversity. As the oldest of 5, Mary’s own mother struggled with postpartum depression.Taking care of babies and mothers became second nature for Mary.
She met her husband and moved to Kansas City where she had her first baby. Mary fell in love with the idea of providing physical and emotional support to women. She saw so much value in having a doula there when going through one of life’s biggest transitions.
Mary has a natural gift of empathy and can easily relate to others, giving them a smooth and joyous experience. She uses her humor to diffuse situations and put people at ease. This ancient and beautiful work is deeply ingrained in who Mary is and she can not see herself doing anything else. Mary enjoys playing Classical and Sacred piano. She loves to cook and bake, and finds herself often in the middle of a DIY project.
